How to exercise correctly
Why should we exercise?
We look at exercise as any physical activity that can be used to maintain strength and health or to become stronger and healthier.
We consider the question about why we should exercise only briefly since it is common understanding that in order for us to keep our bodies healthy to an old age we need to exercise.
How should we exercise?
The big question is about how we should exrcise. It is a fact that not all exercise have the same benefits. It does not neccessarily mean that one exercise is better than the other. They are just different. It is not usually a question of which exercise you should do but a question of how to divide your effort between different kinds of exercise.
There are a variety of different types of exercise. If you are new to exercise you might be overwhelmed by the amount of terms that are used. Some of them might be somewhat familiar like aerobic and anaerobic. But then there are terms like HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) which is a new development.
